(Past President, Board member since 2001, sits on Personnel Committee) Ellen Malcolmson is President and CEO of the Canadian Diabetes Association. The CDA is a national association dedicated to enabling people with diabetes live healthy lives by providing research, education, services and advocacy in Canada.

In her professional career, Ellen has held a number of senior leadership positions including: Senior Vice President Customer Experience, Senior Vice President Operations, President & CEO of Expertech Network Installation, Senior Vice President Customer Care at Bell Mobility and Vice President Operator Services, all during her 25 year career at BCE (Bell Canada Enterprises). In these roles, she led the largest operational functions in the Bell Canada family.

A graduate from McMaster University, Ms. Malcolmson holds an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in French and Political Science. In addition to Women's Habitat Board of Directors, Ellen also serves on the Board of Directors of St. Joseph's Health Centre. Ellen has also served on the board of GO Transit, McMaster University, the Shaw Festival and Junior Achievement.
