o forcing any sexual activity o forcing you to look at pornography or images you're not comfortable with o pressuring you to have intercourse or pressuring you into any sexual activity o giving someone drugs or alcohol to have sex once they are "altered" o rape (sexual assault) o pressuring a person to have unprotected sex o hounding you for sex o treating you like a sex object o making someone feel too scared to say "yes" or "no" to any sexual activity o threatening to harm your reputation or spreading sexual rumours about you o being rough during intercourse or any sexual activityVerbal Abuse
o put downs, insults o criticizing your appearance, comparing you unfavourably with other women o name calling or swearing at you o yelling at you o ridiculing your beliefs o lying o insulting friends and familyEmotional Abuse

o disrespecting your culture, beliefs, values and practices o putting you down for your spiritual/religious beliefs o preventing you from using sacred cultural or religious objects o breaking confidentiality after participating in a traditional talking circle.
