For more than thirty years, Women's Habitat has been providing shelter and support to thousands of women and their children fleeing violence. We incorporate a feminist analysis to our work. This means that the board, staff and volunteers of Women's Habitat believe that violence against women can be stopped. We believe the only way to end violence is to support women's equality and promote social change.

Our Mission
To provide a safe refuge, counselling, support and advocacy for women and their children who are fleeing violence; while also working towards a more equal society where the inherent value of all women is acknowledged and celebrated.
